Timeline

1970

The first Vertical Profiles for Turvatikas are made. The shape of Turvatikas is being created, which later on becomes a recognizable part of the logo.

Turvatikas Safety Ladder was called SF Safety System.

1980-1990

The production of Turvatikas Safety Ladder's Vertical Profile starts at Rautaruukki in Finland.

The name "Turvatikas" is being stamped to the profile of the Safety Ladders.

2001

ELTEL is founded and Turvatikas Safety Ladder becomes a part of it.

2007

FInland's national grid Fingrid chooses Turvatikas Safety Ladder as their official fall protection system. All new powerlines have been equipped with Turvatikas Safety Ladder ever since.

2010

Several national grids show interest in Turvatikas Safety Ladder system. In Slovenia, ELES has been using the system for more than a decade,

2010

Mobile telecom towers are typically 30-100 meters high and they are being frequently climbed to ensure smooth networks for all of us. Szigma-X in Hungary, a distributor for Turvatikas Safety Ladder, takes the system in consideration already in the design phase.

2020

Turvatikas Safety Ladder secures industrial chimneys of Avantea Steel Solution, a Danish chimney manufacturer. High quality materials ensure that Turvatikas preserves its long lifetime also on the side of industrial chimneys.
